For scanning you need LiDAR — found on iPhone Pro models from the iPhone 12 Pro onwards and on iPad Pro models. Without LiDAR you can type measurements in by hand and still check tight spots.
SpaceSnug provides technically inherent approximations — usually very close to the mark. For close calls, we recommend a quick double-check beforehand. It's a measuring aid, not a replacement for re-measuring when in doubt.
SpaceSnug uses FitCoins for scans and fit checks — you get them right inside the app.
No. Scanning, the 3D model and the fit calculation all run entirely on your iPhone. The app has no function that uploads a scan.
Via iCloud if you want — the backup then sits in your own iCloud storage, not on our servers. It's off by default.
